Role Summary - Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and management of iRage. This includes coordinating, streamlining, and overseeing the execution of various projects and initiatives, as well as providing strategic guidance and support to the executive team.

Key responsibilities:

Progress Management:

  • Macro level: 

        - Oversee the setting and achievement of operational goals and objectives for various teams, as well as tracking progress and performance.

  • Micro level (project management):

        - Oversee the management and execution of numerous projects, ensuring projects are finished on schedule. Provide timely (weekly) updates/reports about the progress of key projects to the partners.
        - Collaborate with the partners and team leads to prioritize (/deprioritize) specific projects.
        - Figure out bottlenecks and thereby generate insights about the firm's infrastructure, recruitment, and upskilling needs.
 
Accounts and Finance management:

        - Manage finance operations in collaboration with various departments. 
         - Generate insights into expenses; create budgets for various non-trading operations and ensure compliance; etc.
        - Generate analytical reports and insights into the profitability of various business verticals (& sub-verticals).

Strategic business initiatives:

        - Provide insights on best practices that can be adopted from this/other industries. Roll out best practices and mentor/guide teams in implementing them.
        - Support the leadership team's vision by helping build and implement long-term business plans. 
        - Track industry trends and developments to uncover opportunities for the firm. This could include starting new enterprises in related domains, expanding to new geographies, forming new partnerships, and so on.
        - Create presentations/reports for internal/external consumption.

Relationship management:

        - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, partners, and employees. 

Qualifications:

Education: 

⦁    Business degree (MBA or equivalent). 

Experience:

⦁    Familiarity with exchange traded capital markets is a plus (i.e. good to have but not critical/mandatory).
⦁    Prior exposure to the technology industry is a plus.
⦁    Previous exposure in similar roles (Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff), including prior exposure in project management (and proficiency in project management software and tools). 
⦁    Previous experience in a top-tier consulting firm is a plus.

⦁    Outstanding presentation skills (structuring compelling presentation decks/briefing documents)
⦁    Ability to take initiative and introduce structure to an unstructured, ambiguous environment
